GMHP in partnership with George House Trust and the National Lottery Community Fund, are hosting a webinar for staff working in care homes or services that support older people. This webinar will be tackling how HIV has changed what that means for supporting people aged 50 and over.
This bitesize HIV awareness session explores how HIV has changed and what that means for supporting people aged 50 and over.
With modern treatment, people living with HIV are living long, healthy lives, yet many myths and outdated beliefs still persist. This training gives care professionals practical, up‑to‑date information so you can feel confident providing dignified, informed support to residents.
Delivered as part of the Ageing Well project, now in its third year of National Lottery funding, we’ll look at the realities of ageing with HIV, the growing number of older adults accessing care, and why an accurate, modern understanding is essential. This is a safe, confidential space where all questions are welcome.
